My nephew, John Marcum, was Killed in Action on 9-11-08, while fighting insurgents in Afghanistan. These are some photos and video clips I took while attending his funeral on September 19th at Virginia Beach.
John -We are so very proud of you and love you so much, we will never forget you.
John has been declared a National Hero. He has been presented with numerous awards - including 2 Silver Stars (the highest honor the Navy can bestow - Senators John McCain and Oliver North each have 1 Silver Star).

I grew up next door to John. He was my best friend. I miss him dearly.
